FAQs

Sizing & Fit

Do Wraptors come in different sizes? No Wraptors are one size fits all. The wrap adjusts to your wrist with a layered wrap system, and strong velcro so it fits correctly whether you have smaller or larger wrists.

How tight should I wrap them? Firm enough that your wrist feels stable and supported, but not so tight that your hand goes numb or circulation is restricted. Check out our how-to video on Instagram [@wraptors_nz] for the exact technique.

Product

What makes Wraptors different from other wrist wraps? Most wrist wraps compress your whole wrist equally and support nothing specifically. Wraptors are engineered to target the part of your wrist that takes the most punishment during heavy lifting, smarter placement, less bulk, real support where it actually counts.

What are Wraptors made from? 90% Cotton material with 10% polyester thread and Velcro for attachment

How long do they last? With regular training and proper care, Wraptors are built to last 2 years minimum. Avoid leaving them wet after training and wash them gently to maintain the integrity of the material.

Are they used in competition? Yes, wrist wraps are permitted in powerlifting and weightlifting competitions. Check the rules of your specific federation for approved specifications before competing.

Use

What exercises should I wear Wraptors for? Wraptors are built for any movement that loads the wrist - bench press, overhead press, clean & jerk, snatch, push press, front squat, and heavy pulling movements. If your wrists are taking load, put them on.

Should I wear wrist wraps for every session? Not necessarily. Wraptors are best used for your heavier sets and compound movements. For lighter sessions or accessory work, training without them helps maintain natural wrist strength over time.

Can I wear them if I have a wrist injury? Wraptors provide support and stabilisation which many athletes find helpful during recovery from minor wrist strains. However, if you have a serious injury we recommend speaking to a physio or sports doctor before training with wraps.

Care

How do I wash my Wraptors? Gentle hand wash with warm water. Lay flat or hang to dry and do not tumble dry as this can affect the integrity of the wrap. Do not iron.
